If you’ve recently visited Pinterest’s website, you may have noticed bigger pins, a close-up view of pins, as well as some other updated or added features which have been designed and implemented to make discovery easier.
The Pinterest apps for iOS and Android are set to be updated in the near future with the new features.
“We wanted to make things simpler and cleaner, without requiring you to learn anything new,” Wilson wrote. “What you’ll find are some subtle but useful changes, like bigger pins, so you can see more of what you love.”
The new site had tested it’s refreshed look back in January with a select set of users to gather and analyze all feedback… One piece of feedback that was taken into account was the issue with losing one’s place when browsing… this is no longer an issue as the back button returns a user back to their original spot.
This update comes after Pinterest’s acquisition of Punchfork two months ago. Pinterest is clearly looking to continue it’s uprise into the social media scene and become the king in this competitive market.
